Hello VRHS Swimmers and Parents!

Welcome to the 2016-17 swim year. I am Andrea Bertone and I will be serving as your communications chair for the Booster club this year… so expect to hear from me often. We have a few things to share to get us off to a great start. There’s a lot of info so please read to the bottom:

Rallyhood being Replaced

We are so excited to share that we will be leaving the Rallyhood platform for Swimtopia and the new site is ready and waiting for you at https://www.vrhsswimming.com

Please take a moment to go to the site and register you and your swimmer(s). You’ll be able to purchase team apparel, booster club memberships and other items during registration or at a later time. The only thing you’ll be required to purchase during registration is a team shirt for your swimmer(s).

This website is where you will find information about events, sign up to volunteer and will be the center of all communication. It is required that you sign up. This is a new site for us so it isn’t quite perfect yet. You’ll see not everything is migrated yet but enough to get us started is there and we welcome your feedback at [email protected]

Rallyhood will be shut down at the end of next week.

Swim Parent Night at VRHS

Coach Goodfellow will host a parent night at VRHS on Monday, 8/22. More info from coach to follow on that.

Lane Four Try-Ons and Ordering

Team gear try-on and ordering will be at Lane Four on Tuesday, August 23 from 6-8pm. As an added bonus they will allow you to purchase other items in the store during that time at 20% off. Lane Four is located at: 3621 E Whitestone Blvd, Cedar Park

The team items you will need to purchase that evening are:

Team Swim Suit (There will be a choice between jammer or brief for boys)

Swim Backpack with embroidered logo and name

Team warmups with embroidered logo and name

Team Polo shirt

Party Barge

The party barge is a great event where the swimmers and parents can all get to know one another. We will be out on the lake from 7-10pm and dinner will be provided. There will be signups for drinks, dessert and drivers. Because dinner is being provided we must receive your RSVP no later than Wednesday, August 24 for the party barge. Rally @ The Ridge - Team Shirts & Volunteer Opportunities

If you haven’t been before it is at Gupton Stadium where you’ll meet all the Ranger Athletes, Free admission, Ranger Spirit Wear Sold, Performances by the VRHS Band, Cheer and the Star Steppers.

Team Shirts

FOR NEW SWIMMERS, you’ll need a VR Swim Wars shirt. Please bring a plain black t-shirt plus $5 and drop it on my porch at 102 Breakaway Rd, Cedar Park NO LATER THAN August 17^th. Please include your swimmer’s name on the bag and they will be brought to school Monday during swim period.

Volunteer Opportunities

There are signups to help man our table at the event to sell Powder Coated and Laser Etched RTIC cups that will be available in 20oz and 30oz sizes.
